Detailed description of The Cedars at Dungeness

The Cedars at Dungeness, is a Public Casino-Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Sequim, Washington.

The Cedars at Dungeness first opened for play in 1969. The course was designed by Jack Reimer. It has more recently been rennovated by Mark Miller.

Adjacent to the majestic Strait of Juan de Fuca, you'll know you've arrived when you see the seven, welcoming totems. These totems, representative of the Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe, also serve as a beckoning for you to enter the fun-and-games atmosphere they offer here at 7 Cedars Resort.

They offer year-round golf in sunny Sequim weather and the driest round of golf in Western Washington. They boast of their 13" of annual rainfall compared to Seattle's 38", Palm Springs' 17" or Pebble Beach at 27".

With four sets of tees to choose from, you're sure to find the right challenge, whatever your skill level.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6372 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5344 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 597 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 149 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 7, the 597 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Cedars at Dungeness is # 11, a 165 yard par-3.

The Cedars at Dungeness is a full service golf resort with a Casino down the road. Wonderful pro shop and restaurant located on the golf course along with condos for lodging. The course has many elevation changes and some great risk/reward holes along with smooth, true putting greens.

The name of this course is now The Cedars at Dungeness. A local Indian tribe now owns it and they have made a lot of improvements. Great course.
